Recently I took three days off work so we could go to the Zoo and then head down to the lake for Memorial Day weekend and my birthday. It was awesome. We had the perfect day at the Zoo. The weather was beautiful. It was warm, but with a nice breeze. The Zoo is also one of my favorite places to go to in St. Louis. We saw so much. Sabrina had a blast. Finally got to see the new Sea Lion Sound. It was pretty cool. Kai went with us as well. It cracked us up because we were looking at, a fairly close distance, things like Penguins, Bears, Baby Elephants and all kinds of wild animals, and people would walk past us and say "OOOOHHHHH, Look at the dog! He's so cute!" We even had one couple walk past us and they said "Look out for the wild dog!" We still are giggling about that one. The folks at the Zoo were so accommodating to Kai. He was also a SUPER good boy. He did his job and everything. Here's some of my favorite shots from the Zoo. I cannot wait to go again. I told Brad when we left that I wanted to go back tomorrow!
